2020 - ART in Your Garden - A Competition - Guidelines
WHAT IS ART In Your Garden?
You created it, from any imaginable material, to express any sentiment in your heart!
It can be shocking or funny, cute or ugly. It can be old or new, big or small.
It’s in your yard, on your patio, perched on a fence around your garden.
It’s Art in Your Garden! (And if you don't have a garden, something on your balcony or windowsill works.).
We are in Monson, MA . . . . but with the joys of the internet, you can be anywhere . . .
Worldwide entries welcome.
First Prize - $100 (Sponsored by B&B Landscaping, Monson, MA)
Second Prize - $50 (Sponsored by Monson Savings Bank, Monson, MA)
Third Prize - $25 (Sponsored by Randall's Farm and Greenhouse, Ludlow, MA)
Green Ribbon Special Prizes!

HOW TO JOIN IN
The Competition is now OPEN!
The closing date is July 31st.
The entries will be judged shortly thereafter.
Enter on line or download an entry form and mail it in.
Make your artwork.
Original Art, as well as artistic arrangements of objects found, bought, ‘acquired’ or made, constitutes ART.
You may enter up to 2 pieces for the $15 entry fee. (Enter twice, if you wish to enter 3 or 4 pieces).
When completed, take up to 3 images (.jpg format - less than 4Mb each please) and e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org
Include your name the same one used on your entry form), so that we may match your entry to your images.
Complete the Online Entry Form or Download a paper entry form and mail it in.
Although we ask for a Title for your artwork on the entry forms, you can change it when you actually send in your images. No problem.
Don't forget to e-mail your images to email@example.com (.jpg format - less than 4Mb each please)
Pay your $15 entry fee
Pay by Credit Card / PayPal (used PayPal button for either)
or check made out to Monson Arts Council and mail to:

Our judge will be Bill Dominick.
Bill serves on the board of the Monson Historical Society, the Replanting Monson Tree Committee, and is a keen gardener.
The selected prize winners will be posted as soon as the judging is completed. Bill's decision will be final.
